You could say my career in words began at the age of twelve, when I was crowned champion of my sixth grade spelling bee.

In junior high, I got my first job in PR: publicity chair of the marching band. As a high school senior, I hauled in the award for top English student in my class.

At Ohio State, I gravitated to publicity chair again. This time for an honor society.

I also majored in psychology.
